A WELL established family pub in Chipperfield has changed hands.
The Boot, Tower Hill, Chipperfield, has been sold by Nigel Durrant who has been running it for the past two years.
Dating back to around 1630, the property is a detached building and there has been planning permission to build extensions for a restaurant.
Stewart Harkness, from Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, said: "The pub has an extremely good trade, not only drawn from the local vicinity, but also from further afield. The new owner is Roger Clarke from London Colney and this is his first pub."
