YOBBISH behaviour by rowdy youths will be tackled in Garston thanks to a new neighbourhood group.
Garston Residents' Association held its inaugural meeting yesterday (Wednesday) with a promise to tackle anti-social behaviour in Garston.
The association has been set up with the backing of the north Watford police community team, who this week called on residents to help officers by acting as their "eyes and ears".
PC Mark Spencer, ward constable for the Tudor and Meriden area, which includes Garston, said: "It is a good estate. You do have problems on the estate with nuisance youths and kids on motorbikes, but we are trying to deal with them."
He said that through investigations into anti-social behaviour, seven youngsters had come to his attention and had been given a warning, resulting in an Acceptable Behaviour Contract (ABC).
