STEVE DIAMOND warned his Saracens side against complacency as they head to Brive for Sunday's encounter with a 13-point buffer from the first leg.
"If somebody said you are playing against a side with a 13-point head start then that would be fantastic," admitted the Sarries head coach.
"We will look at it as nil-nil. We approach the games as two separate games, not a two legger.
"We will have to play better than we did on Sunday to beat them this week. I've been over to Brive when I was at Sale and it is a lovely place. They are a good side and their back-line has shown that when they get the ball they can play some good rugby.
"They will be a different kettle of fish in their own backyard. With the crowd behind them, I expect a tough first 15 minutes but our disclipine has been very good - we have given the least penalties away in the Premiership - and we will have to maintain that on Sunday."
Thomas Castaignede, Saracens' French three-quarter maestro, echoed Diamond's sentiments: "One more try would have been great, but I think it was a really good performance," he said of Sunday's 19-6 victory.
"We seem to be much more organised and playing some better rugby, but now we need to start scoring when we have the opportunity. Brive had some opportunities but our defence is great at the moment.
"It's going to be hard, but we will go to Brive not trying to keep the result but to win the game. It will be hard but if we want to achieve the next level at this club it is a must-win.
"The last time I played there was against the coaches so I must be getting old. It will be good for me to go back to Brive and I hope I'll be able to play. My body is not good to me sometimes but I'll do my best. Everytime I come back to a good level I get a small injury. My goal is to play 10 or 12 games in a row and then I'll be the happiest man in the world."
However Castaignede, who along with Kyran Bracken (back) failed a fitness test on the afternoon of the first leg match, has lost his fitness race ahead of the trip to France. Bracken's absence is also set to continue but, happily given the Men in Black's injury problems in the back row, Ben Skirving has recovered from the ankle problem that caused him to limp off on Sunday.
In the only change to the starting line-up from the first-leg, Paul Bailey, who grabbed Sarries' try at the weekend after coming off the bench, replaces Richard Haughton on the right-wing after the England sevens flier sustained a shoulder injury.
Saracens team to face Brive: Bartholomeusz. Bailey, Sorrell, Harris, Vaikona, Little, Williams; Lloyd, Cairns, Visagie, Fullarton, Raiwalui (capt), Randell, Seymour, Skirving.
Replacements: Kyriacou, Yates, Chesney, B T Russell, Rauluni, Johnston, Haughton.
