FOUR Asian men who may hold vital information about the death of Christopher Mason have come forward to police, following an appeal in the Watford Observer.
The four men helped Christopher in the early hours of Christmas morning, following an attack in Market Street, which eventually claimed his life on New Year's Eve.
They left before police got to the scene, unaware of the extent of Christopher's injuries.
This week, police officers were speaking to them in the hope they could reveal more clues to the killer's identity.
A man wearing a gold party hat, who was in Market Street when the attack took place, has yet to come forward.
Police are also hoping to speak to a young woman using her mobile phone in Market Street, at around 2.30am when the attack took place.
Detectives are also appealing for a male cyclist who rode up and down Market Street around the time of the attack.
Detective Superintendent, Chris Miller, said: "We have a dedicated team of officers working on this inquiry who are all committed to identifying the offender.
"If you were in Market Street at the time of the attack, or know anyone who was, please contact us immediately."
