STAFF at fated Rickmansworth theatre Watersmeet were outraged today (Thursday) when the Watersmeet Trust was declared insolvent.
The 12 permanent staff at the theatre were called into a meeting this morning and told that they would not receive any redundancy or holiday pay from the Trust.
Marketing manager at the theatre, Claire Dolling, said: "We were told from November that we would be looked after and that redundancy would be paid to us by the Trust.
"We just all feel so let down."
They were informed that a government body exists, through which they can apply for redundancy, and were due to have a meeting with a government representative at the time of going to press.
