A WATFORD taxi company is to hold a fundraising afternoon for victims of the Asian tsunami disaster.
On Sunday, January 16, between noon and 4pm, drivers at Capital Taxis, of Tolpits Lane, will offer journeys in the Watford area free of charge. Clients will donate the equivalent of their fare, or however much they wish, to the Oxfam tsunami appeal instead.
Drivers will also come to people's homes and collect donations of money or other items such as clothes.
Manager Mustaq Shah said: "Regardless of religion, we are all humans, and we are here to help each other."
More details are available from Capital Taxis on 01923 630063.
