Enter the eye of the tiger at The Paper Trail in Apsley as the Frogmore Paper Mill & Visitor Centre celebrates Chinese New Year on Sunday, February 14. Activities on offer include a variety of innovative paper arts, crafts and workshops all based around the Year of the Tiger.
Appropriately enough, the Chinese invented paper in 105AD, and Frogmore Mill is a paper mill, and a unique one, as it is the site of the first mechanised paper machine in the world.
Session times are from 11am-1pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm.
There will also be a two-day, family-themed workshop taking place on Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19 from 10am-3pm. Admission is free but advance booking is essential.
Then on Sunday, February 28 you can round off the holidays by making frog related arts and crafts to celebrate Frogmore Mill’s own celebrity amphibian, Froggy. Session times are from 11am-1pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm.
