The former 'That's Life' presenter has revealed she underwent the painful procedure in a bid to smooth out wrinkles on her forehead to compete with younger camp mates including Nicola McLean and Carly Zucker.
Esther, 68, said: "It's b****y painful and wears off. I knew I would be washing my hair and would have all of my forehead on show."
The brunette star - who has built up a flirtatious relationship with former 'EastEnders' star Joe Swash since the start of the programme - also told WAG Nicola, who has had her breasts surgically enhanced, that she would consider going under the surgeon's knife again in the future.
She later talked to Nicola and Carly about how she had coped with celibacy since her husband Desmond Wilcox's death in 2000.
She joked: "I've coped by taking a lot of cold showers. I wouldn't recommend it."
Nicola then asked if Esther would be nervous about sleeping with anyone again, to which she replied: "Try me! That wasn't serious. I would be petrified wouldn't I? It would be like losing your virginity again."
After Esther admitted to finding other men attractive still, Nicola - who has previous offered to turn her into a WAG - resolved to find Esther a boyfriend.
