CYCLISTS in Three Rivers are being encouraged to keep their bikes safe as part of an ongoing initiative.
The ‘bike safe initiative’, which is supported by Hertfordshire Police, Three Rivers District Council and the crime prevention panel, gives people free advice on protecting their bike from would-be thieves.
Youth Crime Reduction Officer for Three Rivers Sue Desmond said: “These events are well received by the public as we offer good advice and help people from becoming a victim of crime.
It is well supported by our partner agencies as a pro – active initiative to help keep crime low in Three Rivers. We always encourage people to attend.”
The next ‘Bike Safe’ days will be held at Rickmansworth Police Station on Saturday November 8 from 12pm – 2pm and at Oxhey Police Station on Saturday November 15 from 12pm – 2pm.
