A man whose community punishment got in the way of his job has been given a curfew instead.
Anthony Byrne, 25, of Penn Place, Rickmansworth, admitted failing comply with the court order on two occasions, just weeks after the unpaid work requirement was imposed.
Magistrates were told Byrne works as an international ticket seller and found it difficult holding down his job and carrying out his sentence.
The court was told he was trying to make something of himself and not go the way of his two older brothers, serving nine years in prison.
Magistrates accepted probation’s recommendation to resentence and imposed a two-month curfew between 10pm and 7am.
