A hand-gun wielding robber stole cash from terrified Kings Langley Post Office staff this afternoon.
The man, wearing a motorcycle helmet to obscure his face, burst into the store in Hempstead Road at around 2.40pm.
After threatening staff with a silver pistol he ran from the scene.
The man, who was last seen in Common Lane, was wearing blue motorcycling overalls and blue and white helmet with a flame pattern.
He was aged in his twenties or thirties and was roughly 5ft 11inches tall.
