Rickmansworth's Watersmeet Theatre will host this year’s Hertfordshire Festival of Remembrance on Sunday.
Hundreds of people are expected to honour the memories of the thousands of servicemen and women killed since the First World War by attending an evening of live music and procession.
Her Majesty’s Band of the Life Guards will perform alongside the Harpenden Pipe Band and Welwyn Garden City Male Voice Choir to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.
The event will begin at 4pm with a civic procession and muster of Royal British Legion and ex-service association Standards. The second half of the event will feature a traditional service of Remembrance.
Royal British Legion representative Adele McAngus said: “If people can't get to the Royal Albert Hall then I would urge them to come along for a great evening's entertainment.”
Tickets are £15 and £12 for RBL members and are available at Watersmeet Box Office, Tel: 01923 711063.
