THE man who died nine days after his car crashed in Northwood has been named.
Lee Howard’s Volkswagen Golf careered off the road and crashed into a wall in Joel Street on Sunday, October 12, having apparently lost control on a bend.
The 35-year-old South Oxhey resident was in hospital for nine days after the crash as doctors battled to save his life, but he was declared on Tuesday, October 21.
A post mortem revelaed he died from multiple injuries.
Two passengers in the car, both men in their twenties, were also injured in the crash.
One has been discharged while another remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at around 3.40am at the junction with Norwich Road.
