THE driver of a car which crashed into a wall in Northwood has died in hospital.
The 35-year-old South Oxhey man has been in hospital in a serious condition since the crash, on Sunday, October 12.
His car careered into and demolished a garden wall in Joel Street, after apparently losing control as it went round a bend.
At around 3.40am, the man's black Volkswagen Golf is believed to have hit the curb at the junction with Norwich Road, rolling over on to the brick wall.
Two other men were in the car at the time of the crash, one remains in a serious condition in hospital while another has been discharged.
Doctors fought for several days to save the driver, but he was declared dead yesterday at the Royal London Hospital.
A post mortem is due to take place at Hillingdon Public Mortuary later this week.
Cops have re-appealed for witnesses to the crash to come forward, and urged anyone with information to contact the Alperton Collision Investigation Unit on 0208 998 5319.
