Watford Borough Council has organised two half-term workshops at Watford Museum.
On Thursday, October 30, the workshop is called “Welcoming Rangoli” and children will be invited to create their own Welcome Mat using coloured paints, lentils and spices.
Rangoli is a form of sandpainting decoration that uses finely ground powder and colours.
Then on Friday, October 31, the workshop focuses on fabric tiles and the creation of individual Rangoli patterns.
The workshops, for children aged between eight and 12, run on both days from 10.30am until 12.30pm.
Tickets, which cost £5 per child, must be booked in advance. For more information telephone 01923 232297 or info@watfordmuseum.org.uk.
