Watford Borough Council’s resident gardener, Nick Harris, will be leading a free guided walk around Cheslyn House next week.
Starting at 2pm next Wednesday, the walk will last around an hour and is suitable for adults and children.
Most of the walk will be accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, although part of it does go through the woodland area, which has some uneven ground due to tree roots.
Situated in Nascot Wood Road, Henry and Daisy Colbeck originally owned Cheslyn House and gardens.
Mr Colbeck was a renowned architect, and designed the house he and his wife created the original gardens. The Colbecks travelled a lot, and this is reflected in the range of unusual and exotic plants in the gardens.
There is no need to book, please just turn up on the day.
