Fire crews were called to deal with a house fire this afternoon after a tumble dryer burst into flames.
The blaze, in a house in Princess Road, Watford, started in a conservatory at around 1pm.
Crews from Watford and Garston stations had the blaze under control within minutes after two fire fighters entered the house with a hose real.
They then spent several minutes helping to clear the house of smoke.
Police officers and an ambulance were called to the scene, but nobody was injured in the fire.
