The chairman of Watford Borough Council, councillor Jan Brown, has thrown her support behind the Watford Citizens Advice Bureau, following a recent visit.
Councillor Brown, who was accompanied by her consort, councillor Ian Brown, commended the bureau on its work in providing advice to local reisdents.
During their visit, they were shown the Citizens Advice Information system used by the advisers, and the case recording system. They met advisers and discussed issues around training and volunteering.
Manager of the Watford CAB, Dr Shamim Jagot, said: "I am grateful to Watford Bureau Council for providing the core funding on which the Bureau depends, in order to carry out its service."
