A man from Watford who abused children and young teenagers over a 30-year period is due to be sentenced.
Leslie Bennett, 61, was born in Watford in 1947 and previously lived in Repton Way, Croxley Green.
Between 1977 and 1999 he committed a number of sexual offences against children in Croxley Green, Stevenage, Sandy and Alicante area of Spain when he moved there in 1988.
The victims were boys and girls all aged between seven and 15 years old and the abuse went on for a number of years for each child. There were five children in total.
On Friday, September 19, Bennett, who has been remanded in custody since May this year, pleaded guilty to ten offences against children.
These were five offences of indecent assault on girls under the age of 14, three offences of indecent assault on boys under age of 14 and two offences of gross indecency against boys under the age of 18.
He will be sentenced on October 23 at St Albans Crown Court.
