Is that it now? Our Premiership adventure over? You have to start thinking that it is after Saturday's defeat.

Ten points behind Wigan would suggest that we are once again one season wonders in the big league. Has it been more memorable than last time round in 99/00, I would have to say no.

We had a win at Anfield and a victory at home over Chelsea. Both teams may be a lot stronger now than they were then, but so is everybody else. We are a small fish in a very big pond, but one thing you cannot say is that we have not given it a go.

The heart and the desire is there, but the quality is a mile away. I'm sure everyone at the club will learn from this season, none more so than Aidy himself.

Lets not forget we still have the FA Cup to look forward to. I must add it is a disgrace that the BBC have put our fixture on a Sunday evening, but fair play to the club for putting on free coaches for those willing to make the journey.

Still 30 points to play for, but i'll be suprised if we obtain half of those.
