I took Georgia recently to meet a friend at the Coach and Horses, Croxley Green.
The weather has been so great, it seems only right to be outside as much as possible, especially for children. The Coach is a great pub you can visit with the family, especially in the summer as they have a good enclosed garden with slides and climbing frames for the children. Georgia, as usual bounded over to the climbing frame and made her way down the little slide. She was having a great time.
Then she saw the bigger slide and climbing frame and curious as she is, went over to investigate.
The whole thing was far too big for a 20 month old, so for a minute she watched as the older children played. I was about to go and bring her back when the older children decided to help this curious toddler join in their fun and I watched as they helped her climb the ropes and three of them aided her as she crossed the bridge and helped her on her merry way to whizz down the bigger slide.
It amazes me how older children take such a little one under their wing and let them join in, it was very touching to see. And needless to say Georgia kept them busy saying 'more', 'more' each time she got to the bottom of the slide. It appears they all enjoyed it.
