A Watford man who was arrested over alleged inappropriate comments to a child has been released with no further action.
A five-year-old girl was cycling with family in Vicarage Road, near Scammell Way, in West Watford, when a man reportedly made inappropriate comments towards her at around 5pm on Saturday (November 30). News of what allegedly happened was shared through social media.
Herts Police have confirmed they made enquiries after receiving a report of a comment being made to a child.

“A man in his fifties, from Watford, was arrested in connection with the incident and released under no further action,” a spokesperson said.
