A driver has been hospitalised in Watford after their vehicle collided with a pole this morning.
At 6.30am, police were alerted to reports that a vehicle crashed into a "telegraph pole" on Leggatts Way, Watford.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: "The pole was blocking the road, so a closure was put in place at the junction with Gammons Lane.
"The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
"The fire service also attended to deal with the telegraph pole."
