A man in his 50s was injured after two cars crashed on a bridge in Leavesden.
Police have today confirmed they were called to a crash on Ashfields, near Aerodrome Way, just after 5.35pm yesterday (November 28).
Along with a crew from the East of England Ambulance Service, they dealt with the crash involving a black Vauxhall Insignia and a white Volkswagen Golf.
A force spokesperson said the man's injuries are not deemed life-threatening, but it is unclear whether he required hospital treatment.
Police briefly closed Aerodrome Way after the crash to allow the vehicles to be recovered.
There were reports on social media of long tailbacks along Courtlands Drive, with drivers being urged to avoid the area.
