A proposal to build a practice facility at a golf club is among the latest planning applications submitted to Watford, Three Rivers, Dacorum and Hertsmere councils.
Rickmansworth Golf Club has applied to Three Rivers District Council for permission to erect a 'Golf Pod' adjacent to the existing clubhouse.
A design and access statement with the application explains the pod is "essentially a grander scale golf warm up net with ball tracking technology".
It would be "situated on a small section of the existing public par 3 course directly opposite the clubhouse. There would be ten divided bays with a synthetic grass practice tee on each bay for golfers to practice on. No floodlighting lighting is proposed".
Take a look through our extensive list below to see if there are any new developments planned near where you live.
It includes those applications validated by Watford, Three Rivers and Dacorum councils in the week beginning November 25, plus those related to Aldenham, Bushey, Radlett and Watford submitted to Hertsmere Borough Council in the week ending November 24.
