Herts Police have released CCTV images after a woman’s face was left needing stitches.
The force has been looking into reports of an attack in Market Square, Hemel Hempstead, during an altercation between a group of people.
A woman reportedly suffered facial injuries, that required stiches, after being assaulted by a man.
Yesterday (November 27), following “extensive enquiries” including a review of CCTV, Detective Constable Charlie Eke said: “We’re now in a position to release these images, in the hopes of identifying the person pictured.
“We believe they may have information to assist our ongoing enquiries.
“If this is you, or you recognise them, please get in touch.”

The woman is believed to have been assaulted sometime between 12.15am and 12.30am on Sunday, October 27.
It was reported that the offender was part of a larger group of males who had been ejected from Copper Bar a short time earlier.
