Dementia-friendly film screenings are to be held at a care home in Bushey.
The screenings will take place on the first Tuesday of every month at Oakmoor Lodge Care Home and they are designed to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for those living with dementia and memory loss.
The screenings will be held in the London Road home’s purpose-built cinema with its comfortable seating, soft lighting and relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary snacks will be served during the interval.
Carla Levy-Trup, customer relations manager at Oakmoor Lodge, said: “Oakmoor Lodge is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with dementia.
“By offering these free sessions, we aim to stimulate cognitive function, reduce anxiety and foster a sense of support to our local community.”
