Watford passengers have been facing travel misery this morning after a gas leak forced the suspension of the Metropolitan Line.
There is currently no service between Northwood Hills and Watford Junction while Transport for London (TfL) tackle the leak.
This means there are currently no Metropolitan Line services from Croxley Station, and severe delays to journeys between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Northwood.
The delays are currently scheduled to last for two hours, according to National Rail, although that could be extended.
According to the TfL website, there is good service on the rest of the line, while tickets are being accepted on buses and the London Overground in lieu of the Metropolitan Line.
UPDATE: A TfL spokesperson has confirmed that the incident has been cleared and that the Metropolitan Line is now running with minor delays.
There is unconfirmed speculation that the gas leak occurred at Rickmansworth Station. National Rail and TfL has been contacted for more information.

This morning's delays are the latest in a string of recent issues that have plagued train travel in the area.
Signalling faults caused an all-day outage between Watford Junction and London Euston last week (November 20). Similar faults also occurred the following day and the previous week.
Yesterday Storm Bert left its mark on the train service, causing delays and cancellations on Southern Rail services, as well as the Abbey Line between Watford and St Albans.
