"High value" jewellery has been stolen from an address in South Oxhey after a burglary over the weekend.
Burglars broke into an address in St Annes Close between 11.30am and 9.30pm, while the resident was not at home.
After returning home, they noticed the jewellery had been stolen, with no damage done to their home.
It is unknown how the burglars gained access to the property, or the direction in which they left.
Police have appealed for CCTV and ring doorbell footage that could help them identify potential suspects.

In an unrelated incident, an address in Beechwood Rise, Watford, was also burgled on Friday (November 23).
Between 11.45am and 6.35pm, a glass patio door was smashed, allowing the criminal(s) to gain access to the property.
Once inside, they searched the bedroom.
Police are also appealing for CCTV and ring doorbell footage to help them solve this crime, which can be reported by calling or emailing police and quoting the crime reference number 41/99412/24.
