A car park in the Meriden Estate is set to close for two weeks, while a new heating system is installed.
Residents of Abbey and Munden View have been informed that the site in front of Munden View will be closed from Monday (November 25), so that contractor Kensa can carry out the works.

A message to occupants, seen by the Watford Observer, reads: "Kensa Contracting are continuing to make progress with the works to install a new heating system for Abbey View, Munden View and the nearby low-rise blocks.
"From Monday, November 25, Kensa will need to close the park in front of Munden View for approximately two weeks. Please make sure any vehicles have been removed from this area before this time and are only parked in the designated spaces as access is needed at all times."
The works are part of a range of upgrades to the tower blocks, announced by Watford Community Housing (WCH) earlier this year.
Next year, the housing association is also planning to replace all external windows, add extra insulation, swap the internal light bulbs for LEDs and extend the existing sprinkler system to improve fire safety.
Both towers’ roofs will be waterproofed and the central ventilation system will be replaced with individual controls for each flat.
