Drivers may experience delays to their journeys on a busy Watford route when roadworks are carried out next week.

Eclipse Power Networks are due to be carrying out works in Radlett Road from Tuesday to Thursday close to the junction with Bushey Mill Lane.

Elsewhere, part of Clarendon Road will be shut on Sunday to allow the windows on a link bridge to be cleaned, while there will also be overnight closures in Waterfields Way and Thomas Sawyer Way over the next two weeks.

The following information is sourced from the One.Network website and is a selection of the upcoming roadworks due to take place in and around Watford.

- Clarendon Road, Watford, will be shut to drivers from 9.30am to 5pm on Sunday to enable window cleaning to take place on the link bridge at the Watford Junction end of the road. A diversion will be in place.

- Gas works by Cadent mean Fuller Road, Watford, will be shut to motorists for two weeks from Monday to December 7.

- Delays are likely in Radlett Road, Watford, from 8am to 5pm, from Tuesday to Thursday due to works by Eclipse Power Networks Ltd. This will be taking place near to the junction with Bushey Mill Lane and two-way traffic lights will be in use.

- Two-way traffic lights will be in use in Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green, from Tuesday to Friday, November 29 when Cadent will be carrying out gas works.

- Delays are likely in Watford Road, Croxley Green, near the Harvester roundabout, on Wednesday and Thursday when a lane will be closed for works by New World Payphones Ltd.

- Waterfields Way, Watford, will be shut to vehicles from 9pm to 5am, from Thursday to Saturday, November 30 for slot cutting. The closure will be in place at the junction with Lower High Street and also the northbound section towards the Tesco roundabout, including the whole length of crossroad outside the Nissan garage and the short length of linking in the middle of the junction.

- Drainage surveys in Thomas Sawyer Way, Watford, will be carried out overnight from 9pm to 6am, between December 1 and December 6. The work will be taking place at the Thomas Sawyer Way junction with Shrodells Way to the Willow Lane junction with Vicarage Road. Multi-way traffic lights will be in use.

- Bournehall Lane, Bushey, will be shut to drivers from December 2 to December 4 while gas works are carried out by Cadent. A diversion will be in place.
