A man has suffered a "serious eye injury" after being attacked with a hammer in Rickmansworth.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an assault near the William Penn Playing Fields on Friday, November 8.
Two men were having a row when the victim, aged in his 50s, was struck with a hammer.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged in his 30s, wearing a beige tracksuit and white trainers. Police believe he may be named Billy.

Detective Constable Vanessa Gottman, of the Three Rivers Local Crime Unit, said: “I’m appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who has information, about this incident and who the suspect is to come forward.
