A Watford street is due to be shut to drivers for two weeks while gas works are carried out.
Motorists will be prohibited from using Fuller Road, near to where it flows into St George’s Road, from November 25 to December 7 while the works are carried out.
Meanwhile, roadworks are likely to cause delays to motorists using busy roads in and around the town, including Whippendell Road and Radlett Road, later this month.
The following information is sourced from the One.Network website and is a selection of the roadworks due to take place in the Watford area over the coming weeks:
- Delays are likely in Whippendell Road, Watford, from Wednesday to Friday, November 22 for works by Affinity Water. Multi-way traffic lights will be in use close to the junction with Printers Avenue.
- Motorists will be unable to use Hatfield Road, Watford, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Thursday and Friday, November 22 for roadworks.
- Pathway reconstruction work means Nascot Street, Watford, will be closed from 8am to 5pm between Thursday and November 26. The work will be taking place from the junction with Langley Road to the junction with Malden Road on the odds side only. A diversion will be in place.
- Clarendon Road, Watford, will be shut to drivers from 9.30am to 5pm on November 24 to enable window cleaning to take place on the link bridge at the Watford Junction end of the road.
- Gas works by Cadent mean Fuller Road, Watford, will be shut to motorists for two weeks from November 25 to December 7.
- Delays are likely in Watford Road, Croxley Green, near the Harvester roundabout, on November 27 and November 28 when a lane will be closed for works by New World Payphones Ltd.
- Delays are likely in Radlett Road, Watford, from 8am to 5pm, from November 26 to November 28 due to works by Eclipse Power Networks Ltd. This will be taking place near to the junction with Bushey Mill Lane and two-way traffic lights will be in use.
- Two-way traffic lights will be in use in Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green, from November 26 to November 29 when Cadent will be carrying out gas works.
