A Watford Junction fault is blocking the line from London this morning and into the afternoon.
The signalling system issue near the station means that many journeys between the town's main station and Euston are disrupted.
It is currently expected to last until 12.30pm, although this could be extended.

National Rail’s latest incident update said: “As the line from London towards Watford is currently blocked, trains must run at reduced speeds and therefore may be cancelled or delayed by up to 15 minutes.”
Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway services are affected, but London Overground services should not be.
Travellers who experience a delay completing their journey should keep their ticket and make a note of their journey as they may be able to claim compensation.
