Rotting rubbish in overflowing bins that haven't been collected "for weeks" have triggered health and safety fears in South Oxhey.
A Bridlington Road resident's photo on social media saw several others voice dismay over the bin storage unit linked to Nathan House and Forge House, just behind the Lidl.
Motorists parking between blocks of flats have reportedly blocked the road for collection teams, leading to an overflow of rubbish from the bins.
The resident wrote: "This has now become a serious health and safety concern, as it’s attracting vermin. Let’s keep our community safe and clean by making sure this area stays clear."

They urged Three Rivers District Council to implement parking restrictions and deploy traffic wardens to enable bins to be collected.
Others expressed a similar sentiment, with one writing: "My daughter lives in that block and trying to get down the road is ridiculous. The rubbish needs to be collected soon as it stinks."
Another hit out at the "awful" state of the area around the flats, labelling it "the South Oxhey tip".
Three Rivers District Council has been approached for comment.
