Bookings have been rolling in for a Watford couple’s new business ahead of their first event.
Solène Events will provide photo booths to hire for its first event in December after Jess Davies and Joe Junior Mvuezolo started the company in October.
It offers manned or unmanned photobooth equipment, props, and backdrops brought to any occasion, with bookings so far being for weddings, Christmas parties, birthdays, and corporate events.
Jess, 27, said: "We’re really excited and really encouraged, we’ve had so much interest already in such a short time."
The former Westfield Academy and Queens' School student explained that they are particularly looking forward to weddings and birthdays that are already in the diary for next summer.
“It’s a nice way to be involved in people’s big day events, even if its only a small part,” she added.

Although it is based in Watford, Solène Events will serve events across Hertfordshire, London or even further afield.
Joe Junior, 28, is a professional basketball player while Jess works as a property surveyor, but they decided to launch their own business after enjoying photobooths at parties they had attended themselves and deciding to make them easily available for more events.
Photos taken at the booths are shared digitally to guests via SMS, email, or Airdrop and can be edited, including with custom overlays for a particular occasion.
