An application has been made to make alterations to a service station in Watford.
The proposal to make the unspecified changes has been posted in the Public Notice Portal, which is used to access upcoming and recent information about various restrictions and applications.
Herts County Council has also posted its intention to temporarily close some roads in and around the town for roadworks.
All temporary closure orders, if made, are valid for up to 18 months, but the restrictions will only apply at times indicated on signs at or near the roads.

Watford Service Station, St Albans Road – variation of premises licence
An application has been made to vary the premises licence of a service station in Watford to allow it to make alterations to the premises.
Rontec Watford Ltd. has applied to Watford Borough Council for permission to vary the licence for Watford Service Station, 112 St Albans Road, Watford WD24 4AE to allow it make changes to the premises.
It does not state in the notice what these proposed alterations involve.
Anyone wishing to make representations must do so in writing to Watford Licensing Authority, Town Hall, Watford WD17 3EX, Email: licensing@watford.gov.uk, by November 20.
Marlborough Road, Watford – temporary closure
Herts County Council is intending to make an order to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Marlborough Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Exchange Road south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Francis Road, a distance of approximately 143m, except for access.
This is to allow utility service works to be carried out.
The order, if made, will come into force on November 17.
Clarendon Road, Watford - temporary closure
An order is intended to be made by the county council to prohibit vehicles from using that length of Clarendon Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove north eastwards and northwards to its junction with Gartlet Road, a distance of approximately 158m.
This is to allow mobile crane works to be carried out.
If made, this order will come into force on November 18.
Brightwell Road, Watford – temporary closure
The county council is intending to make an order to prohibit vehicles from using that length of Brightwell Road, Watford from a point 249m south west of its junction with Harwoods Road south westwards to its junction with A4145 Hagden Lane, a distance of approximately 10m, to allow utility service works to be carried out.
This order, if made, will come into force on November 20.
Links Way, Croxley Green – temporary closure
An order is intended to be made to stop motorists from using that length of Links Way, Croxley Green from a point in line with the north western boundary of No.135 Links Way north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m to enable reinstatement works to take place.
This order is due to come into force on November 20.
