Police are looking for a burglar who is believed to have moved fence panels and left footprints in wet concrete breaking in.
Today (November 8), Herts Police appealed for anyone with information on a burglary in Highfield Way, Rickmansworth, to come forward.
Work tools were stolen after a house was broken into between 5.30pm on Wednesday (November 6) and 7.30am the next day.

Officers think the offender may have got into the house through the rear, as there are foot marks in wet concrete coming from that direction and a fence panel had been moved on the right-hand side. They may then have exited through the other side because bricks and a fence panel were moved there too, police added.
A spokesperson said: “If you or your neighbours have any information relating to this crime, or if you have captured any relevant footage on your CCTV or doorbell camera, please contact the police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime number 41/94006/24.
“Alternatively, you can give information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“Please be vigilant and do report any suspicious activity or behaviour in the area.”
