Herts Police have made two arrests after finding suspects inside a shop that had been broken into.
Croxley Green residents were shocked to find a police cordon outside a parade of shops in Watford Road this morning (November 8).
Many speculated that Croxley Supermarket had been broken into as the frontage appeared damaged, but police have confirmed this afternoon that two businesses were targeted.

The force were called with reports of an ongoing break-in at around 4.30am before officers found two suspects inside Croxley Supermarket on arrival.
They had also broken into Farmhouse Pizza, a spokesperson confirmed.
“Two suspects, both men in their 30s, have since been arrested on suspicion of burglary and assault of an emergency worker,” they added. “A scene remains in place.”
A photo taken at the scene at around 7.30am shows officers beside a cordon around the two closed businesses while the Croxley Supermarket shutters appear to have been damaged.
