Inspectors have shared an “overwhelmingly positive” report after visiting a school in September.
Acting head master Dan Endlar at private Jewish school Immanuel College, in Elstree Road, Bushey, has thanked the Independent Schools Inspectorate(ISI) for its “fair and accurate assessment”.
The ISI does not provide a single-word rating but, as the equivalent to Ofsted for public schools, checks whether standards across five key areas are being met and offers ways to improve.
A team of five inspectors observed lessons and activities, spoke to governors, teachers, leaders, and pupils, scrutinised work and documentation, and carried out surveys over two-and-a-half days.

Afterwards they certified that standards were being met in all areas, adding that pupils generally make good progress and “achieve well throughout the school”.
“The report is overwhelmingly positive about our school,” Mr Endlar said.
“I would like to thank the entire team at Immanuel College for all they do for our pupils, families and community on a daily basis and to the ISI for its fair and accurate assessment of this in the inspection report.”
Immanuel College has 467 pupils divided into a preparatory school for ages four to 11, the senior school for those 11 to 16, and a sixth form.
