Watford's MP and a councillor helped a charity prepare hundreds of bags to support older residents over the winter period.
Matt Turmaine and councillor Asif Khan volunteered at the Small Acts of Kindness charity in North Watford on Friday.
In the office, the duo, alongside other volunteers, filled more than 300 bags with clothing, soup, and tea for older residents.
The Labour MP said: "I've had the privilege to do this sort of work there before and am always happy to volunteer for such a worthy cause.
"The work that chief executive officer Lynne Misner and her staff do day in, day out, is fantastic, and I find it rewarding doing my bit to help."
Small Acts of Kindness aims to tackle loneliness and isolation, especially during the winter months.
The charity distributes the support bags across the town and beyond, providing support to those in need.
