A robbery involving a "machete" in Hemel Hempstead has seen police release a suspect description as part of their investigation.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was walking towards Livingstone Walk from Henry Wells Square when he was approached by the suspect at 8.45pm on Saturday, October 26.
Police said the suspect, who was riding a mountain bike, then brandished “a bladed weapon” and demanded the man hand over his property. Cash and cigarettes were taken before the suspect rode off.
The force has since confirmed the weapon was believed to be a machete.
Today (November 6), Investigator Deborah Newsham, from the Dacorum Local Crime Unit, said enquiries were ongoing and appealed for information.

“I am also particularly keen to speak to three females who were said to have been walking from Livingstone Walk to Henry Wells Square and may have seen what happened.”
