Hello, I’m Tilly, I was adopted from the National Animal Welfare Trust as a kitten in 2004 - yes, you read that right, 20 years ago!
I have had a wonderful life, full of love, but my owners and I grew old together and they could no longer care for me. Luckily for me, the kind people at NAWT took me back in, even after all these years, and they told me there will be someone else kind enough to love me like my last owners did.
I’m a sweet girl who’s finding it confusing being back in a cattery so I spent the first few days safely tucked up in bed but as I’m starting to settle, I’m getting a bit braver. Once I get to know someone, I love to cosy up next to them to have fuss and cuddles.
I’m a senior lady and unfortunately, the vets have discovered I have renal failure. My condition is stable but, sadly, it is a terminal illness so I’m hoping to find a home where I can live out my days comfortably until it’s time for me to say my goodbyes and cross the rainbow bridge.
I’m looking for a quiet home with access to a garden so I can explore if I want to. I’d like to be the only pet in the home. I can live with children, but it’s important that they understand I may not be with them very long as I wouldn’t want to make anyone upset.
If you have it in your heart to help a lovely lady like me, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) today.
