A two-bedroom Watford home is set to be turned into an home of multiple occupancy (HMO) after plans were approved.
Watford Borough Council has today (November 1) given a thumbs up to the proposal, submitted back in August.
The property, located in Amberley Terrace, will now be extended backwards.
An extra two bedrooms will be added to the site, while a small TV room will also be added.
Only the ground floor will be extended, while the existing garage will remain unchanged.

Similar application approved after appeal
In an unrelated but similar case, the expansion of a HMO in Westland Road was approved last week, following a successful appeal.
Back in March, Watford Borough Council blocked a landlord from adding another bedroom to a property over concerns it “would make poor living conditions”.
Earlier this month, the planning inspectorate published its decision allowing the appeal - meaning the conversion can go ahead.
The inspector found that on a site visit they noted that the storage room “easily accommodated a double bed, bedside tables and desk area with a window overlooking the garden”.
