A Croxley Green mum has been left "baffled" after masked teenagers stole and smashed her toddler's pumpkins.
The woman - who has requested to remain anonymous - bought the pumpkins for her three year-old-son to celebrate Halloween last night, only for vandals to ruin the fun.
She said her son was "very upset" to see them smashed in the road, so the mum tried to blame the destruction on hungry foxes.
Ring doorbell footage shows a group of teenagers approaching the driveway of the property in Malvern Way and stealing the pumpkins which were outside.
After scurrying away, around half-way through the video one yob appears to put a pumpkin above their head and launch it at the floor before running off.
- Ongoing power cut affecting Kings Langley and Chipperfield
- Upcoming roadworks in Watford, Rickmansworth and South Oxhey
The mum said: "My husband went outside to take the bins out and noticed that our pumpkins were gone and some were smashed in the road outside our house.
"When we looked at the doorbell footage, we saw them taking and throwing the pumpkins down."
She added: "I'm just baffled as to why they did it. None of them even laughed afterwards. My son was so upset afterwards."
Social media users have claimed to have seen or experienced similar incidents in the area last night, potentially committed by the same group.
