A charity football match will take place in Watford to raise funds for a mental health charity.
The event at Knutsford Playing Fields on November 16 has been organised by Lee Kilcoyne and Steve Richards to support the charity Guideposts.
Four teams of seven will play at the fields off Radlett Road.
So far, they have raised more than £3,000, exceeding their initial target of £1,000.
Mr Richards said: "I am a strong believer in supporting mental wellbeing and I have found that playing football with a group of men from all backgrounds, ages and footballing ability has had a positive impact on my own mental health.
"Working in mental health myself, I have seen the great work that Guideposts do and whom they aim to help and support."
He continued: "When it was suggested we do a football fundraiser for charity and we decided on Guideposts, it felt right that we could do our bit together to raise awareness of Guideposts, mental health and show our support together."
