Watford Borough Council intends to sell a parcel of public open space for 65 homes to be built.
The land, between the Holywell Estate and Watford Business Park, would be sold to Watford Community Housing as part of the Croxley View Phase 3 project to build affordable housing.
Notice of the transfer, and how Watford residents can have their say, has been posted on the Public Notice Portal - which is used to access upcoming and recent information about various restrictions and applications.
The council says existing trees and habitats will be retained and extended where possible. An upgraded cycleway and footpath will also be provided.
Representations about the disposal can be made by email to communications@watford.gov.uk quoting 'Croxley View Open Space Disposal' before 5pm on Monday, November 18.
