An attempted knifepoint robbery near a train station has sparked a police appeal for witnesses.
The victim had left Bricket Wood train station and was on the railway footbridge linking Station Road and Black Boy Wood when he was approached by the suspect.
They brandished what is believed to be a knife before demanding the victim, a man in his 40s, hand over his phone. The suspect then fled on a mountain bike with a white bottle on it.
It happened at around 8.55pm on Monday, September 30, following which police today (October 25) appealed for witnesses.
