A 67-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs and handling stolen goods after a raid in Hemel Hempstead.

Officers from the Operational Support Group carried out a warrant at an address in the Grovehill area on Monday morning (October 21), with support from the Neighbourhood Policing Team and Operation Scorpion.

Class A drugs, suspected stolen property, cash and multiple mobile phones were seized. with a 67-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and handling stolen goods.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Sergeant Julian Divney, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), said: "We’re continuing our efforts to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the Grovehill area, and this warrant was the latest in a series of proactive operations targeting those we suspect to be involved.

"Drugs and the criminality often associated with their supply and use has a huge impact on local communities and I hope this serves as a warning that we’re making good on our promise to relentlessly pursue those involved in criminal activity.
