Several burglars in face coverings reportedly broke in and ransacked a house while the resident was at home.
Thousands of pounds worth of jewellery was apparently taken, as well as cash, from around 6.43pm on Monday, October 21.
It was reported that unknown offenders damaged a front door to get into a home on Alva Way, Carpenders Park.
The occupant disturbed the burglars after hearing noise. They then left heading towards Delta Gain in a Grey CUPRA car, but not before making a mess of the property as they searched it.
Herts Police have asked anyone with CCTV or Ring doorbell footage of “suspicious persons or vehicles” in the area at the time or in the days leading up to the break-in to call 101 quoting 41/88498/24.
